Enroll/Cost

Undergraduate students attending UH-Downtown (UHD) who are enrolled in 6 or more credit hours (3 for summer session) are eligible to enroll for coverage within the posted open enrollment time period.

Graduate students attending UH-Downtown (UHD) who are enrolled in 3 or more credit hours are eligible to enroll for coverage within the posted open enrollment time period.

UH Downtown International students with "F" or "J" visa status may request a waiver of coverage based on the UH System's waiver criteria.

International student must activate their coverage here. After activating your coverage, you may add your Spouse and/or child at the button below. 

Click the button below if you are an Undergraduate student who are enrolled in 6 or more credit hours (3 for summer session) or Graduate students who are enrolled in 3 or more credit hours. Premium must be paid directly to AHP.

Continuation of Coverage is only available to Insured Students and covered Dependents who have graduated or are no longer eligible for coverage under the University of Houston Downtown Student Health Insurance Plan. Covered students must have been insured for at least three (3) continuous months before coverage terminated under the Prior and/or Current Plan.
